On an example given below, stages of creation of a open-ended line of a complex configuration are
shown.
On the first stage the figure, which part of external border has a required configuration is
created.
At the following stage to this figure the Selection tool
Background border is applied. The closed line being border of the given figure is
obtained.
At the final stage the required part is cut out from the obtained closed line.
Obtained open-ended line with the help of the mouse can be moved in required
position. For
it the width, style, a set of colors and type of the ends can be given. The description of a line as a sequence of coordinates can be
saved as a text file using item of the menu Save Selection.
